What is Neapolitan pizza?

“Neapolitan” refers to anything done in the fashion of Naples, a port city in southern Italy. The tradition of Neapolitan pizza is preserved today by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, or Vera. This organization, headquartered in Naples, certifies that pizzerias all over the world uphold the traditions of Neapolitan pizza making.

Dante and Dante Pizzeria Napoletana Chef Nick Strawhecker has brought his modern take on traditional Italian cooking to America’s heartland by cultivating relationships with growers and producers across Nebraska and the Midwest. As a result, the Dante table is ruled by the seasons.

At Dante West Omaha and Dante Pizzeria Napoletana Blackstone, the seasonal menu changes weekly based on the produce and protein availability from more than 25 farmers across the Midwest and seafood fishing partners.

Do I need a reservation?

You do not need a reservation to dine with us! However, we strongly recommend a reservation when dining at Dante West Omaha. Make a reservation. Reservations are not needed to dine at Dante Pizzeria Napoletana in Blackstone.

What is fast-fine?

A fast-fine restaurant is a made-to-order meal that allows customers to sit down, briefly, then get back to work or out the door. The restaurant has the aesthetic, ambiance and quality food of the flagship establishment, without a formal dining experience.

Fast-fine counter service is Dante Pizzeria Napoletana's full-service setting, picked up at the counter with the same farm-sourced ingredients, menu options and VPN Neapolitan pizza.

Where is the Blackstone District?

The Blackstone District is a revitalized historic district in Omaha, NE, stretching along Midtown's Farnam Street in the heart of Omaha’s most dynamic neighborhood.

Where do I park at Dante Pizzeria Napoletana in Blackstone?

There is a Dante parking lot to the west of the restaurant building. There is also metered parking spots along Farnam Street and plenty of parking lots that open after 5pm that provide parking access to restaurants.

Does Dante do catering?

Yes! Dante has a variety of options to suit every catering need in the Omaha area. Dante can customize a plan for any event big or small, plus offer several items that can be made to suit a variety of diets, including gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan.
